Rita Braver a 2024 Gold Emmy Inductee

October 1, 2024

Congratulations to Rita Braver, a 2024 Gold Emmy Inductee

Since 1997, Rita Braver has been CBS News Sunday Morning’s “go-to” correspondent, recognized for her zeal and reliability. A trailblazer in female broadcast journalism since the Nixon administration, she’s one of the few journalists from 1972 still delivering top-tier reports. Colleagues affirm she can cover any story—from arts and culture to politics and foreign affairs—and her storytelling is consistently lauded as thoughtful, incisive and compelling

Inductees in the Gold and Silver Circle have set standards of achievement we all hope to emulate. A professional society of honor, and one of the highest tributes bestowed by NATAS, the Gold Circle recognizes professionals who have performed distinguished service within the television industry for at least 50 years. Silver Circle inductees are recognized for their enduring contributions over 25 years or more. These individuals are selected for more than their longevity—they have made an indelible impact on the vitality of our industry and those who work in it every day.

Rita Braver will make her first appearance at the 2025 RMWF.
