We are honored to have decorated U.S. military General David H. Petraeus open the 2024 Festival on Angel Night, January 30, 2024, in conversation with Lesley Stahl from 60 Minutes.

General David H. Petraeus (retired) is a four-star general and former Director of the CIA whose distinguished career spanned 37 years. General Petraeus has been described as one of the “great battle captains of American history.” He will appear at the 2024 RMWF to discuss the most significant global challenges facing us today, including international security issues, macroeconomic trends and the task of strategic leadership in the twenty-first century. He is the co-author of Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Ukraine.

Lesley Stahl is one of America’s most honored and experienced broadcast journalists. Her rich career has been marked by political scoops, investigations, compelling features and award-winning foreign reporting—a body of work that won her the Lifetime Achievement Emmy for overall excellence in reporting.
