George Saunders is an author of numerous short story collections and is best known for his inventive use of language and structure. His first novel, Lincoln in the Bardo, won the Man Booker Prize in 2017. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a MacArthur Fellowship, a Lannan Literary Fellowship, National Magazine Award, Pen/Malamud Award and was a finalist for the National Book Award. Saunders appeared at the 2020 RMWF.
